Recent reports have claimed Xiaomi is working on the Mi Pad 5 series of tablets. Some rumors have claimed that it will be launching this month. However, Redmi’s Product Manager Wang Teng Thomas was recently seen telling a Weibo user that the Mi Pad 5 lineup is expected to launch in the second half of the year. Hence, there is a possibility that the device may not launch until July. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station also claimed that it won’t be launching soon.

Last month, a Xiaomi device was spotted with model number M2105K81C was spotted at the IMEI database last month. According to the tipster, it could be the topmost model in the Mi Pad 5 series.
