The official posters show that the smartphone will be available in color options like white gradient, silver gradient, and black. The Chinese firm has also confirmed that it will carry support for 66W rapid charging.

The Dimensity 800U chipset fuels the Honor Play5. Probably, it will ship with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It is backed by a 3,800mAh battery and it will come loaded with Android 11 OS.

Last year in November, Honor was separated from its then-parent brand Huawei. Since then, it has been consistently increasing its product portfolio. Apart from launching the Honor V40 series earlier this year, the company recently announced the Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 notebooks and Honor Tab X7 tablet in China. Speculations are rife that the company may announce the Honor 50 series of flagship phones in June.
