The Chinese media, a few days back, announced that China has successfully landed its first spacecraft named Tainwen-1 on Mars. As a way of commemorating the epoch event which puts China in the ranks of space exploration as the second country to successfully land a spacecraft on Mars, OPPO has announced a new Find X3 Pro Mars Exploration Edition.
The Find X3 Pro Mars Exploration Edition adopts some design features which reflect the Mars exploration. At the rear aspect, the device bears the inscriptions – Mars 2021 and Utopia Planitia, which is the Tainwen-1’s landing site on the planet.
The new model equally comes in a new gray hue which looks pretty cool and is said to have been inspired by outer space. The glass panel at the rear is made from high-fog AG Glass with metallic luster in order to create the texture of material from outer space. With this new color option, the Find X3 Pro Mars Exploration Edition is now available in five different paint jobs. The already existing ones include Blue, White, Gloss Black, and Cosmic Mocha colors. The retail box of this new model is also unique. 
Yet another distinguishing feature of the Find X3 Mars Exploration Edition is that it adopts three Mars color filters that transform photos taken to look like something taken on Mars. Still, on the software side, the phone is designed with a customized Mars theme and dynamic wallpapers that change shades to reflect the changing time from morning to evening at the Red Planet.
Apart from these unique design and software changes, the Find X30 Mars Edition has the same specifications as the regular model. As a reminder, the smartphone packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The phone comes in a sole 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option. Keeping the lights on is a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W wired and 30W wireless charging.
As for the pricing and availability, the OPPO Find X3 Pro Mars Exploration Edition is currently on sale in China for 6,999 yuan (~$1,090).
