Xiaomi has been rolling out MIUI 12.5 update for the past few weeks. For those unaware, MIUI 12.5 is the latest version of Xiaomi’s mobile operating system with improvements for devices running the MIUI 12. The latest phones to receive this update are Mi CC9 Pro and Redmi K30 5G.

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with a 108MP camera. This handset is known as Mi Note 10 in global markets. There’s one more variant of this device called Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition (aka Mi Note 10 Pro). The only difference between the regular and this model is the presence of a different lens for the main camera. Hence, these phones run identical software.

Anyway, the Mi CC9 Pro debuted with MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It was later updated to Android 10, followed by MIUI 12. Earlier this year, the handset also got the Android 11 update

Now, the Mi CC9 Pro has started receiving MIUI 12.5 update in China with build number V12.5.2.0.RFDCNXM. The update is being pushed in batches and will be available for all users in the coming days. Similarly, the global variant of this device – Mi Note 10 (Pro) should also get this update in near future.

On the other hand, Redmi K30 5G also launched with MIUI 11 but based on Android 10. The smartphone was updated to MIUI 12, followed by Android 11. Now, it has begun to receive MIUI 12.5 update in China with build number V12.5.2.0.RGICNXM.

The latest system update for Redmi K30 5G is also being seeded out in batches. But unlike the Mi CC9 Pro, this handset was not sold outside China. Hence, it does not have any other regional MIUI build.
