Earlier this month, OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 update for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro with May 2021 security patches, improvements, and fixes. At the end of the month, the brand is now seeding yet another system update for these handsets with build number OxygenOS 11.2.6.6.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are the 2021 flagship smartphones of OnePlus. These handsets come with a camera setup tuned by Hasselblad.

However, since the launch, the brand has been fixing issues with the camera system. The latest OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 update for these phones is also about improvements and optimizations for the camera system, as well as the network.

According to the official changelog, the latest system update for the OnePlus 9 series brings improvements for charging experience, hidden operation logic of the camera‘s top bar, focusing experience and brightness constancy in indoor scenes, the accuracy of auto white balance of the rear camera, and network performance.

The new update also comes with optimizations for power consumption and noise reduction as well as the sharpening effect of the rear camera. Last but not least, the update fixes some know issues and improves stability.

Like any other OTA system update, the OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 update for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro is also being rolled out in batches. Therefore, it may take some time to reach every unit.
