The POCO M3 Pro 5G launched a few weeks ago as one of the cheapest 5G smartphones in Europe. Now POCO has confirmed that the budget phone is coming to India this month.

The announcement was made by the official POCO India Twitter account today and it said that the device will be announced on June 8 in the country. The device will be sold by Flipkart on the same day.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a centered punch hole and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a feature called DynamicSwitch that automatically adjusts the refresh rate between 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the content on the screen.

Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset and it is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. For storage, users get 64GB or 128GB of storage that can be expanded via a hybrid Dual-SIM slot. There is a 48MP main camera on the back of the phone along with a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor while an 8MP camera is in front for selfies.

POCO ships the phone with a 5000mAh battery that charges at up to 18W. Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, stereo speakers, an audio jack, and a USB-C port. The POCO M3 Pro 5G runs Android 11 out of the box.
