Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite smartphone in India. The company is expected to confirm its launch date soon. However, a recent tweet by reliable tipster Mukul Sharma seems to have revealed the Mi 11 Lite launch date for India. Β 

In the above tweet, texts β€œba” and β€œis” seem to read as β€œbais,” a Hindi word for β€œ22.” This indicates that the tipster could be hinting at June 22 as the unveiling date for the Mi 11 Lite in India. Hopefully, Xiaomi will soon release an official confirmation on the launch date of Mi 11 Lite.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has an IP53 rated chassis and a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 732G mobile platform powers the Mi 11 Lite with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There is a hybrid SIM slot onboard, which can be used for adding a microSD card. The 4,520mAh battery of the device is equipped with 33W rapid charging.

The Mi 11 Lite has a front camera of 16-megapixel, and its rear shell has a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. The handset features dual speakers but lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

The handset is expected to release in India in options like 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It may arrive in colors like black, pink, and blue and it may arrive with sub-Rs 20,000 (~$274) pricing.
