A new HMD Global-developed Nokia X series smartphone has been benchmarked on Geekbecnh (via 91Mobiles). Going by the listing, the device will be called Nokia XR20 and it will be powered by the same chipset as the already available Nokia X10 and Nokia X20.

According to Geekbench, the upcoming Nokia XR20 will run Android 11 and will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. However, we believed that there could be other RAM variants as well.

Thanks to this chip, the device will have support for 5G connectivity. But we do not expect it to be priced cheaper like other Snapdragon 480 phones in the market. That’s because the Nokia X10 and the Nokia X20 are one of the costliest handsets with this chip.

As of now, it is not known how the Nokia XR20 will differ from the Nokia X20. It could be either a better version or a toned-down variant. Either way, we can expect the company to provide 3 years of Android updates and 3 years of monthly security patches like the other two models.

That said, HMD Global has not scheduled any launch event in the coming days. Hence, the phone could go official at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2021 later this month.
