A new leak has revealed that the Honor Magic 3 smartphone will arrive with Snapdragon 888 Pro SoC. The device will apparently launch in August 2021 and will feature the new top end processor from Qualcomm.
The news arrives from a Weibo post, a Chinese microblogging website, from known tipster @数码闲聊站. As per the social media post, the upcoming Magic 3 smartphone will sport the Snapdragon 888 Pro SoC, which is expected to feature the new X1 super core that offers a frequency of 3.0GHz. In other words, it is an overclocked variant of the base Snapdragon 888 processor. Notably, we had previously reported on Honor working on a new smartphones with this chipset, so this handset might be the model in question.
Furthermore, the company’s CEO had also announced recently that its Magic series of smartphones will include high end flagship grade devices. These handsets will also offer iconic physical design, advanced imaging capabilities, and quality assurance as well, among other things. The tipster also added that the company’s first foldable smartphone will also be launching soon, marking the brand’s entry into the foldable smartphone segment.
