Earlier today (16th June 2021), Realme shared the success of its 618 online sales. The company apparently sold over 1 million smartphone units during this period, ranking in the top 2 in China for the overall sale of Android handsets.

The brand shared the news on its official Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging website. At the 618 event, many of the company’s smartphone models saw a decrease in prices. This includes the smartphone maker’s flagship models as well like the Realme GT, with the device being available starting from 2,500 Yuan (roughly 390 US Dollars). The premium grade handset features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, so the pricing makes it quite competitive in the market considering it also offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
