The Redmi Note 10 Pro sold in India is exclusive to the country. It comes with a 64MP primary camera instead of a 108MP shooter like on the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, which is actually known as the Redmi Note 10 Pro in the rest of the world. Anyway, this device has now received its second price hike exactly a month after the first.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro in India in three storage configurations – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. They debuted for ₹15,999, ₹16,999, and ₹18,999 respectively.

But unfortunately, the company increased the price of the mid 6GB + 128GB variant by ₹500 on June 4. Hence, this version of the smartphone had been selling for ₹17,499 since then.

Yesterday, on July 4, a month after the first price hike, the same memory variant got its second price hike of ₹500. Therefore, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 6GB + 128GB now retails for ₹17,999 in India.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is not the only phone in the Redmi Note 10 series to get multiple price hikes in India. Just a few days back, the price of the vanilla Redmi Note was increased the third time. Additionally, Xiaomi also incremented the price of its select Mi TV and Redmi TV models in the country.

The increase in the price of smartphones and televisions is a direct result of the shortage of components. If the situation continues, it may affect the rate of demand in India.
