The realme C15 Qualcomm Edition made its debut at the end of October 2020. As the name suggests, it comes with a Qualcomm SoC, Snapdragon 460 to be precise. The original model is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chip. On the software front, the phone launched with realme UI based on Android 10. Now, it has finally started receiving the Android 11 (realme UI 2.0) stable update.

Chinese handset maker realme opened realme UI 2.0 Early Access registrations for realme C15 Qualcomm Edition by late April 2021. A little over two months later, the smartphone has now begun to receive the stable update.

According to the official announcement post on realme Community, the latest system update for the device arrives with firmware version RMX2195PU_11.A.05. Right now, it is being rolled out in batches. Hence, it could take some time to reach every unit.

Anyway, the update should be available for all users in the coming days. Also, users not satisfied with the software build can revert back to Android 10. However, that process will wipe the device’s internal storage.

Unfortunately, it’s not known whether this phone will get the Android 12 update in the future. We don’t think it will be eligible either. But we believe is that it should get maintenance security patches for a while.
