Xiaomi announced the Mi 11 Ultra in India in late April. However, the smartphone went on sale for the first time only recently. Just as soon as the phone hit the stores, the company has now started rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update for it.
MIUI 12.5 is the latest version of MIUI. It is a minor upgrade for devices running MIUI 12. Xiaomi has been rolling out this update to eligible devices for months.
The Mi 11 Ultra was one of the first smartphones to get this update. But since the company just started selling it in India, it has begun to receive this update only now in the country.
The MIUI 12.5 update for Mi 11 Ultra in India arrives with build number V12.5.2.0.RKAINXM. This software build is currently labeled as ‘Stable Beta’.
In simpler words, the OTA system update is being rolled out in batches. Hence, it may take some time to reach every unit in the region.
India is one of the few countries where the Mi 11 Ultra is cheaper. The device is priced at ₹69,999 ($939) in the country for the sole 12GB + 256GB variant. However, it ships with a 55W charger instead of a 67W charger, which is set to launch on July 12 in the country.
