Earlier this week, a TECNO official teased the arrival of the POVA 2 smartphone. This is the successor to the Pova that was launched last year and will arrive with a whopping 7,000mAh battery pack.

On his official Twitter handle, Arijeet Talapatra, the CEO of Transsion Holding‘s India branch (Transsion is also the parent company of TECNO) shared a teaser for the upcoming POVA 2. In an images poster, the executive revealed that the device will be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery pack, which is likely one of its highlighting features. The teaser also offered us a look at the upcoming smartphone.

At the moment, the POVA 2 is already available in the Philippines and was sold in a single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It was launched in the region for a price of 7,990 Philippine Peso (roughly 11,820 INR), so we can expect pricing around the same range for the Indian market. Although, it is currently unknown if the device will be launched in India in multiple configurations or with specifications different from its previous Philippine launch.
