OPPO Watch 2 launch date

The OPPO Watch from last year was the company’s first device in the smartwatch market. It was powered by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip, and it ran on Wear OS in global markets. In China, it came with ColorOS.

As far as the Watch 2 is concerned, it is expected to arrive with the newer Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and an Apollo 4s secondary chip.  While its global version is likely to run on Wear OS, its Chinese edition could be running on an OS based on Android 8.1. The Watch 2 may offer 16 GB of native storage, which is twice more than its predecessor model.

The Watch 2 is likely to sport a square-shaped dial like its predecessor. It is expected to offer features like new watch faces, a stress detection function, a new OPPO Relax app, and LTE support through e-SIM. The company is also said to be working on a smartwatch called the OPPO Watch Free, but nothing much is known about it.
