Recent reports have claimed that Xiaomi will be announcing the Mi Pad 5 series of tablets in August in China. Three new devices that are believed to be the upcoming tablets from the company have received approval from the 3C authority of China. This indicates that the company may at least three Mi Pad 5 tablets in the coming month.

As can be seen, the 3C authority has approved three Xiaomi tablets with model numbers M210581AC, 21051182C, and M201581C. As can be seen in the screenshot, the K81A and K81C models are likely to ship with a 67W charger. It appears that among the two models, only the K81C will carry support for 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablet series

According to Digital Chat Station, the K81A and K81C tablets will be driven by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. Previous reports have claimed that the K81C model could be housing an 8,720mAh battery. Both models may house a 48-megapixel main camera along with an LCD panel that offers 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Probably, the K81A and K81C could be the same tablet with the former being a Wi-Fi-only edition and the latter arriving as its 5G variant.

On the other side, the 82C model could be shipping with a 33W fast charger. The tipster claimed that it will be featuring the Snapdragon 860. A recent leak claimed that the Snapdragon 870 variants of the Mi Pad 5 may launch first, while the SD860 version may arrive later. The tipster claimed that this model also features an LCD panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh. Past reports have claimed that it may feature a 12-megapixel main camera and a 12,400mAh battery.
