The Honor Magic 3 series launch is just around the corner, with the company set to announce its latest flagship lineup on 12th August 2021. Now, a new report has revealed a few details regarding the higher end Pro variant of the series.
While the Magic 3 series of flagship handsets are confirmed to arrive with dual punch hole selfie cameras, multiple sources (Via MyDrivers) have recently revealed that the Magic 3 Pro will feature a hyperboloid screen with a more powerful sensor configuration on the front. Reportedly, the Pro model could possibly adopt a structured light based solution for 3D face scanning. In other words, the device will feature a facial recognition system through an additional sensor.

The report also added that this new system would enable it to offer an advanced facial recognition solution that maps the users’ faces in real time and could be one of the better implementations of this technology. Keep in mind that this is still an unconfirmed report so take this report with a pinch of salt for now.
At the moment, we know that the Magic 3 Pro will arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC and could also support 100W wired fast charging support along with 50W wireless fast charging, and 100x zoom lens similar to the Magic 3 Pro+. So stay tuned for more updates regarding this flagship phone.
