Realme has just launched a couple of new products in India earlier today (23rd July 2021). This includes the new Watch 2 Series, the Buds Wireless 2 Series, and even the new Buds Q2 Neo.

Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro

The Chinese smartphone maker has just launched the new Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro in India. These smartwatches arrive with a square shaped screen, which is similar to their predecessor that launched last year. While the Watch 2 Pro also sports a square screen, it arrives with an improved design and features as well. The Pro variant has a 1.75 inch color display that has a higher screen to body ratio than the last gen, along with improvements to watch faces, the addition of new sports modes, and GPS location tracking.

The base Watch 2 sports a smaller 1.4 inch display, and also arrives with 90 sports modes, like basketball, boxing, dancing, golf, hiking, indoor cycling, and many more. Other features for both the smartwatches include Hydration Reminder, Sedentary Reminder, Camera Control, and Mediation Assistant. Notably, the Watch 2 series also supports heart rate and blood oxygen level tracking, along with sleep monitoring as well. The company claims 12 days of battery life for the Watch 2 and up to 14 days for the Wach 2 Pro. These can also connect to the Realme Link App.

Buds Wireless 2 and Buds Wireless 2 Neo

Apart from the Watch 2 series, the company also launched a new lineup of neckband earphones as well. The Buds Wireless 2 and Buds Wireless 2 Neo have just been announced. The former arrives with support for active noise cancellation and LDAC, which is an advanced Bluetooth codec that offers better sound quality on audio tracks that have a high resolution. Although, it still supports AAC and SBC codecs. It features a neckband design with 13.6mm dynamic drivers.

The brand claims 22 hours of battery life for the Buds Wireless 2, which also features fast charging support and 88ms low latency gaming mode. For protection is arrives with an IPX5 water resistance rating. On the other hand, the Buds Wireless 2 Neo is similar in some regard but overall arrives with fewer features to make it more affordable. The earphones can be charged for 10 minutes but will offer 120 minutes of playback as per official notes. It supports ENC (environment noise cancellation) along with IPX4 water resistance and low latency mode as well.

Buds Q2 Neo

Finally, Realme also unveiled the new Buds Q2 Neo earbuds in India. The primary difference between the Buds Q2 and the new Neo variant is the lack of active noise cancellation. Instead, it features ENC for better performance during phone calls. It also offers the 88ms low latency gaming mode and can connect to the Link app for customized settings as well. The company claims it can offer about 20 hours of playback and also arrives with Bluetooth 5.0.

The Realme Watch 2 series and Buds 2 Wireless series are set to be available for purchase starting from July 26 while the Buds Q2 Neo will launch on 29th July 2021. The products will be available from the company’s official website, along with Flipkart, Amazon, and select offline stores. Their prices are:

  • Watch 2 – 3,499 INR (roughly 47 USD)
  • Watch 2 Pro – 4,999 INR (roughly 67 USD)
  • Buds Wireless 2 – 2,299 INR (roughly 31 USD)
  • Buds Wireless 2 Neo – 1,499 INR (roughly 20 USD)
  • Buds Q2 – 1,599 INR (roughly 22 USD)

Notably, the Watch 2, Buds Wireless 2, Buds Wireless 2 Neo, and Buds Q2 Neo will be available for a discounted early bird price of 2,999 INR (roughly 40 USD), 1,999 INR (roughly 27 USD), 1,399 INR (roughly 19 USD), and 1,299 INR (roughly 17 USD) respectively.
