ZTE Axon 30 global launch

The Chinese manufacturer has announced that the Snapdragon 870-powered smartphone will launch in September. The announcement was made on Twitter via the ZTE Devices account.

ZTE launched the Axon 20 5G, the first smartphone with an in-display camera, last year and the phone got a global release. So it is not much of a surprise that ZTE plans to big the improved version to other markets too.

The Axon 30 5G has a 6.92-inch FHD AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is available in four variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 256GB.

There are three 64MP cameras on the back of the phone along with an 8MP ultrawide angle camera that can also take 3CM macro photos. The camera under the display is a 16MP sensor. There is a 4200mAh battery under the hood and there is support for 55W fast charging, Power Delivery, and Quick Charge 4+. ZTE ships the phone with MyOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
