Realme is inching towards the first Android magnetic wireless charging technology similar to Apple’s Magsafe power pack. The Realme Magnetic Innovation event slated for August 3 will see the announcement of the first Android magnetic wireless charging technology, the Realme MagDart.
The Realme MagDart will attach to the back of a compatible Android device and deliver 15W power. The MagDart also has a cooling fan to reduce overheating of the charger. The MagDart technology will likely debut with one of Realme’s flagship lineups and there are speculations that this could be the Realme Flash, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. The Realme Flash will come with a triple rear camera setup, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
The August 3 event could also see some big announcements or the release of additional details about the MagDart technology and a possible timeline for its commercial deployment. We may also get more specs about the Realme Flash. However, it is not likely that pricing and availability details for these yet-to-be-released products will be given.
The launch event will be held online and streamed live on all Realme’s official social media platforms which include YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
