OnePlus is rolling out a new system update for the OnePlus 7 series and the OnePlus 7T series worldwide. The new update arrives as OxygenOS 11.0.2.1. It brings along updated security patches and some fixes.

OnePlus 7 Pro

The latest software update for OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7T Pro bumps up the security patch level to July 2021. It reduces power consumption, optimizes dial pad UI display effect, and improves overheating control management as well as the stability of the camera app.

Other than the above-mentioned factors, the new update also brings fixes for HD video playback on some video platforms, crashing of the stock file manager app, and blur issue when shooting in fullscreen mode in the camera app.

That said, like any other OTA system update, the OxygenOS 11.0.2.1 update for the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7T series is being pushed out in batches all around the world. This means the update may take some time to reach every unit.
