Micromax has just officially launched its latest IN 2b smartphone in India. Alongside the handset, the company even released two new audio products in the region, namely the Air Funk 1 and Air Funk 1 Pro.
With the launch of its latest wireless earphones, the company has also officially entered the earbuds market in India, which is seeing a boom as of right now. The Indian smartphone maker is likely seeking to have a foothold in this segment through its newly launched Air Funk true wireless earbuds series. Talking about the Pro variant first, it features ambient noise cancellation and a Qualcomm chipset under the hood.
The Air Funk 1 Pro will be the high end model with the Qualcomm QCC 3040 chipset with CVC 8.0 (Clear Voice Capture) for noise and echo cancellation. This will enable it to offer up to 25dB cancellation (ENC) for ambient noise. The ENC will also be enabled for calls. It also supports Bluetooth 5.2 along with 13mm dynamic drivers, and four microphones. The company promises up to 32 hours of total battery life, including the charging case. It sports a USB Type C charging port, with an in ear design and a stem.
Other notable features include IP44 water and dust resistance, touch and music controls. Arriving at the base variant, the Air Funk 1 also features an in ear design but without a stem. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 with 9mm dynamic drivers and 3D stereo sound. For battery, the hearables can last for up to 20 hours in total when including the charging case. Similar to the Pro variant, it also supports USB C, IP44, and touch controls. Both earbuds are set to go on sale on Flipkart starting from August 18 and their prices are:
- Air Funk 1 Pro – 2,499 INR (roughly 34 US Dollars) – Available in blue, white, black, red, and yellow.
- Air Funk 1 – 1,299 INR (roughly17 US Dollars) – Available in blue, yellow, purple, and red.
