Apple is considering an iPhone model with a foldable display, and it could be out within two or three years according to Bloomberg Apple expert Mark Gurman. Gurman also indicated that the high-end titanium Apple Watch may have been sold out, with no plans to have a reproduction of the model.foldable iphones

Foldable displays are fast gathering steam and Samsung is one of the pioneers of the technology. In a move that could show the popularity of foldable smartphones, Gurman is also predicting that a foldable iPhone could become a reality by 2023 or later.

The titanium Apple Watch Series 6 Titanium model is priced at $799 and is reported to be currently unavailable across both online and physical Apple stores. There are indications that the titanium Apple Watch could have been sold out and there are no plans to reproduce a new lot of the device. With the newest version of the Series 7 Apple Watch slated for unveiling in September, Apple may be holding back on the very expensive titanium model. It has to be stated though that Apple has not officially stated that the titanium model has been discontinued. Gurman also highlighted a common charging problem of Apple Watches and suggests the USB-C interface is a better charging option than the current one. The use of USB-C charging option ahead of Apple’s Lightning port. Gurman says if Apple could reduce the number of chargers for its devices to three from the current 5.

It is also suggested that making more devices compatible with Apple’s wireless charging MagSafe technology would enhance the charging capability of the Apple Watch.
Apple has had a legal tango with Samsung on accusations of copying its iPhone design.it remains to be seen what the in-development foldable iPhone would look like.
