While Samsung is gearing up for its August 11 launch event in which it will release the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, Caviar is readying for the launch of its own custom edition variants of both foldable smartphones.

For those unaware, Caviar is a known luxury brand from Russia that has launched custom editions of various popular smartphones and electronics products in the past. Now, the company is also seeking to launch custom Skull editions of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 from the South Korean tech giant. These custom editions are currently listed on Caviar‘s official website (Via LetsGoDigital) and are dubbed Ragnarok and Catrina Calavera for both the Fold and Flip models.
The Ragnarok is a term from the Norse mythology and the skull design on the foldable smartphones is the symbol of the Scandinavian king of fire, Surt. On the other hand, the Catrina Calavera has a design that features vibrant colors that represent the streets of Mexico City on the Day of the Dead. The former is priced at 10,700 US Dollars while the latter is priced at a whopping 46,460 US Dollars, which clearly indicates that it is an ultra premium custom edition.

Looking at the both custom editions, we can observe that Caviar has used expensive materials along with laser engravings. The Ragnarok even sports bright red rubies for the Surt Skull’s eyes. The Caviar special custom models also sports black titanium with impact resistance that will offer extra protection to the device as well. These models are also quite exclusive as well, with only 99 pieces planned to be sold.
