Back in December, Huawei announced the Huawei Nova 8 smartphone in China. It was a high-end smartphone powered by the Kirin 985 chipset. Now, the company has announced the Huawei Nova 8 with Kirin 820E chip in Russia. Here is all the information on the specifications and features of the Nova 8’s global edition:

The Huawei Nova 8 has a 6.57-inch OLED screen that delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. For security, it features an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The display punch-hole houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The oval-shaped camera module available on the backside of the Nova 8 has a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors for shooting macro shots and adding depth effects.

The Nova 8 is a 4G device powered by the Kirin 820E chip. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The handset runs on EMUI 12 based Android 11 OS.

The Nova 8 global edition comes with a 3,800mAh battery that supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge rapid charging technology. The handset offers connectivity features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Nova 8 global edition comes in a single 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. It has arrived with a pricing of RUB 39,999 (~$547) in Russia and is available in Powdery Pink color only. It is unclear which other markets will be receiving the Nova 8’s global variant.
