Chinese electric scooter manufacturer NIU has got a new e-scooter under its wing dubbed NIU GOVA C0 and said to have been designed for females. The GOVA C0 is one of NIU’s latest low-cost, lightweight and comfortable electric scooters released to the Chinese market. NIU is a leader in the two-wheeler EV market and caters to the needs of a wide array of customers, from the low end to the premium segment. The GOVA line was launched in 2019 and has continued to drive sales in the industry as alluded to by the GOVA C0 chief executive recently. The C0 comes with a new pair of C-shaped headlights that provide greater aesthetic appeal, which makes the model to be heavily favored by a segment of consumers.

The lightweight e-scooter is just 75kg, has a low seat height of just 29 inches, and also offers a smaller battery that offers up to 60km in range. The battery is well protected from overheating and other undesirable effects. The e-scooter is powered by a 400W motor which offers a top speed of 25kmph. The functional pedals also offer additional driving options. There is also a small seat at the back and can seat a child comfortably. The GOVA C0 is already on sale in China for 3,399 yuan ($525). Global pricing and availability are not known at this time.
