Recent rumors have revealed that Apple is working on a major design overhaul of its upcoming iPad mini tablets. Now, renders have revealed these new major changes in design while also highlighting some of its key specifications as well.
According to a GSMArena report, the new renders were designed by Michael Ma (@apple_idesigner) offers us a look at the upcoming tablet that is expected to launch sometime around the iPhone 13 series later this year. Notably, these renders also offered some keys specs as well. The upcoming iPad mini will basically be a more compact version of the fourth generation of iPad Air, with an 8.4 inch Liquid Retina display.
This display will have a 60Hz refresh rate and uniform bezels. Furthermore, the complete renders of the tablet are listed as 206 x 138 x 6.1mm and it will be available in Space Gray, Silver, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue colors. Under the hood, the iPad mini render sports the Cupertino based giant’s A14 Bionic chipset. The iPad mini will also reportedly run the company’s third generation Pencil stylus and will arrive in a WiFi only and 5G cellular model as well. The tablet will also bring a Touch ID scanner housed in the power button.
