iQOO has just announced a new tournament for Battlegrounds Mobile India. The new All Stars Cup for the popular mobile game will be held in partnership with Krafton and Esports XO and will feature a price pool of 500,000 INR (roughly about 6,800 US Dollars).

As per the official press release, the Chinese smartphone maker is hosting its first ever BGMI tournament in India that started on August 26 and will continue on till August 31. Esports XO is the execution partner for the tournament, which will have 16 invited teams competing for a prize pool of 500,000 INR. The prize money will be distributed among the top three teams and the MVP of the event. Furthermore, fans of the game can even tune in for the event live on the iQOO Esports official YouTube channel.

Before announcing the tournament, the brand had also hosted the iQOO Raid Nights, in which, it featured known Indian YouTube streamers like Tanmay Bhatt, Samay Raina and GamerFleet to find India’s next big streamer. Looking at the roster of participating teams :

iQOOThe team that takes the first place will win 300,000 INR (roughly 4,050 US Dollars). On the other had, the team that comes second will receive 125,000 INR (roughly 1,700 US Dollars), while the team that achieves third will receive 50,000 INR (roughly 675 US Dollars). The tournament will also have a ‘Fully Loaded Performer of The Tournament Award,’ which is the MVP of the competition that achieves the highest kills. This person will receive 25,000 INR (roughly 350 US Dollars).
