Popular Apple tipster Jon Prosser has revealed that the iPhone 13 series is slated to be unveiled on September 14, about two weeks away. An image of the retail box of the iPhone 13 was also leaked, and this may have confirmed that indeed, its launch is just a matter of few weeks.
Despite stringent efforts put in place, it would seem that Apple is still suffering from insider release of critical trade information. Apple had even threatened identified leakers in other with possible litigation. However, the tipster has indicated that we would indeed see the next-gen iPhone on the stated date of September 14, while the actual release is believed to start by September 24.

The launch, if true falls in line with the annual iPhone event, although there had been speculations earlier that the launch date was September 17. Citing unnamed sources, Prosser affirmed September 14 as the D-day, also providing more details about the event and the iPhone 13. According to the tipster, press invites will be issued one week before the event, while pre-orders will start on September 17. The announcement comes on September 14, while it will go on sale on September 24.
Meanwhile, a leaked photo shows the packaging of the iPhone 13, further dispelling any more rumors about the name of Apple’s next flagship. The photo of the retail box, although not from official quarters, could also indicate an imminent launch of the iPhone 13 series. Prosser also indicates that all the models in the lineup this time around will be available immediately for pre-order.
