Earlier this year, Realme launched the GT Neo 5G in China. Now according to a report, the company is preparing to launch its successor, the Realme GT Neo2, in India.
The publication Digit collaboration with tipster OnLeaks released renders and key specifications of the upcoming GT Neo2. The renders and specifications are said to be based on the pre-production unit. These renders give us a 360-degree look at the smartphone.
The Realme GT Neo2 is said to be a premium succeeding the original GT Neo under the GT series. The report mentions that the smartphone would be quite slim and lightweight; however, there’s no word on the exact dimensions yet.
On the front, it gets a large display with minimal bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the back sports the camera module housing three cameras along with a LED flash. The speaker grille and USB Type C port can be seen on the bottom. The left side houses volume control buttons, while the power button is on the right edge.
Realme GT Neo2 Rumoured Specifications
According to the report, the Realme GT Neo2 could come with a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone would also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor with the punch-hole cutout housing a 16MP camera for selfies.
The GT Neo successor is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is expected to come in one storage variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The report suggests that the smartphone would be running RealmeUI 2.0 on top of Android 11. The GT Neo2 is likely to come with a 5000mAh battery supporting fast charging out of the box.
The GT Neo2 is rumoured to feature a rear triple camera setup led by a 64MP main camera. The primary sensor would be joined by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera. As per the report, these could be the same sensors found on the Realme GT.
