Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the latest version of its Android OS based custom skin, the One UI 4.0. While the new version had an initial launch date of September 9, the company has now delayed the roll out for the beta.

The South Korean tech giant’s Community Manager provided update regarding the One UI 4.0, confirming the delayed roll out for the beta in a forum post. He stated that “We ask for your understanding and we cannot inform you of the schedule until the beta is open.” For those unaware, the One UI 4.0 update is highly anticipated since it is based on the new Android 12 OS. Furthermore, its predecessor, the One UI 3.1.1 update, didn’t bring major upgrades or changes to the custom skin.

Previously, the latest version’s beta was expected to go live on September 9 but the brand has delayed the roll out for an indefinite period as of right now. Although, since Samsung has already committed to a September time frame for the launch, the delay might not be too long. However, it is still unlikely to just roll out over the coming weekend. Unfortunately, the reason for the delay is currently unknown. But following tradition, we can expect the beta to drop in the company’s home country, South Korea, first before being released in other regions. So stay tuned for more updates regarding this matter.
