Today, Realme took to its Weibo handle to confirmed that it will be unveiling the Realme GT Neo2 smartphone at 2 PM (local time) on Sept. 22. As the name goes, it will be arriving as the successor to the Realme GT Neo that debuted earlier this year.

Last month, a Realme phone with RMX3370 was certified by the TENAA regulatory body of China. This handset is speculated to debut as the Realme GT Neo2. It was recently spotted with the Snapdragon 870 chipset at the Geekbench benchmarking site. To recollect, the original GT Neo was driven by the Dimensity 1200 SoC.

Realme GT Neo2 specifications (Rumored)

The Realme GT Neo2 will feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 870 SoC power phone is expected to arrive with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

The GT Neo2 will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery. Its 3C certification has revealed that it may ship with a 65W fast charger. The device will run on Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0.

The rear camera setup of the G Neo2 will include a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The handset is expected to arrive in colors like Mirror Black, Dream Blue, Super Orange, and a special green variant.
