Xiaomi today held a product launch event where it unveiled the Mi 11T, Mi 11T Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone alongside the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet. The Chinese tech giant also unveiled three new smart accessories. The Mi Smart Projector 2 leads the pack which includes the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 (2 Pack) and the Mi Smart Band 6 NFC with Alexa support.
The Mi Smart Band 6 was first introduced in March last year with several innovative features such as SpO2 function as well as other health tracking features such as sleeping and stress-level detection. The new version differs from this model only on the NFC support it features. The feature is rolling out in the global market in partnership with Mastercard to offer contactless payment. This will afford users a fast, secure, and convenient way to pay. The service will be available in 19 regions but the regions were not identified. 
Further, the all-new Mi Smart Band 6 NFC version now also offers built-in Amazon Alexa, expands hands-free experience for smart homeowners.
The Mi Smart Band 6 NFC will retail for EUR 54.9 in Europe.
Mi Smart Projector 2
Xiaomi also unveiled the Mi Smart Projector 2 which it claims is a portable home cinema. The projector boasts a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and adopts a compact size. The projector comes with Dolby Audio support, delivering crystal clear audio quality across all sound sources.
Furthermore, it runs on Google’s Android TV operating system bringing built-in Google Assistant and several other features.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 carries a retail price of EUR 599.
Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 (2-Pack)
Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 (2-Pack) is designed to power whole-home smart devices. It offers strong and reliable Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 network coverage of up to 4,000 square feet making it possible to cover multi-floor apartments. It also supports a maximum number of connections up to 254 devices. Regardless of the number of connected devices, the mesh system will provide optimized network efficiency and reduced latency with 1024QAM modulation, as well as OFDMA and 2 x 2 MIMO technology support.
The smart mesh system also supports automatic network switching to ensure seamless roaming when users are moving across different rooms. The device can even initiate a self-repairing process to reorganize the network whenever a device is detected offline, keeping users connected to Wi-Fi 6 all the time.
As for the price, the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 (2-Pack) starts from EUR 149.
