Krafton Inc had recently announced the latest iteration of its popular battle royale title, which was dubbed PUBG: New State. The mobile game had begun its pre-registrations for both Android and iOS, and now, the total registrations have crossed a whopping 40 million in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

PUBG: New State

The game developer and publisher has just shared the news regarding the upcoming title, which is set to launch sometime next month. As of right now, New State has successfully completed its second Alpha Test in 28 countries back in August. Recently, Krafton had also made pre-registrations live for the Indian market, which is a major mobile gaming market. In other words, the impressive registrations number likely arrives due to its pre-orders for the game going live in the region.

Unlike the standalone BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), PUBG: New State will be available on both Android and iOS at launch. Similar to PUBG Mobile and BGMI, the game will also be free to play but will feature a modern/urban setting for its intense battle royale styled gameplay. For those interested in registering, you can check out the app store listing for Android and iOS on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, respectively.
