Itel on September 22 launched the Itel A26 smartphone in India as a budget-friendly offering. The phone sports a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 64GB thanks to the presence of an SD card slot. The phone runs Android 10 Go Edition comes with face unlock capabilities.
Pricing & Availability
As per a press release from the company, the Itel A26 will be sold with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 in India. However, for some reason, the price for the same shows as Rs. 6,299 on Flipkart currently. It could be possible that this will be fixed later.
Itel does not offer any storage variants for the A26 but you do get multiple color options to pick from, namely Deep Blue, Gradation Green, and Light Purple. Moreover, the device comes with a 1-year warranty and even a one-time screen replacement offer, valid for 100 days after purchase.
Itel A26 Specifications
The Itel A26 is powered by the Unisoc SC9832e which is a 28nm chipset featuring a 1.4GHz quad-core Arm Cortex A53 processor. It is usually paired with the Mali T820 MP1 GPU.
The display of the device has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 720×1520 (HD+). For optics, you get a 5MP ‘Dual AI Camera’ with flash at the back and a 2MP sensor on the front. A 3020mAh Li-ion removable battery fulfills the power needs of the device. The device measures 148×72.3×9.9mm.
Last but not the least, the Itel A26 comes with a ‘Social Turbo’ feature that lets users record WhatsApp calls, save statuses, and more.
