Earlier this year, the Chinese phone maker Redmi launched the Redmi 10 smartphone in the European and Malaysian markets. The device came in the affordable segment and offered a fast 90Hz refresh rate screen. Now, the smartphone has landed in Nigeria and it is currently available for N85,000(~$207).

The aforementioned pricing is for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 128GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB variant costs N87,500(~$213) and N96,200(~$234) respectively. The smartphone will be going on sale next week in the country.

The Redmi 10 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is a centred punch-hole panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a single 8MP front camera for selfies and a quadruple-camera system at the rear. It has a 50MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture. There’s a secondary 8MP lens as well followed by two 2MP sensors for macro and depth images.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and has up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Redmi has offered storage expandability, thanks to the microSD card slot. The dual-SIM phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and has support for 18W fast charging technology. It has dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
