ViewSonic today announced the launch of two gaming monitors – VX2880-4K-PRO and VX3220-4K-PRO, as part of its VX series in China. Both have IPS displays with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K) and a three-sided micro-frame design. The refresh rate is ultra-smooth at 144Hz. The monitors have two HDMI 2.1 ports.

The ViewSonic VX3220-4K-PRO is sized at 31.5 inches and has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (via: IT Home). Its brightness level is 400 cd/m2 and it has HDR 400 certification. The display is 10 bit, meaning it can theoretically display 1 billion colors. The color gamut covers 100% sRGB, 83% AdobeRGB, and the color accuracy stands at ΔE<2. The monitor’s response time is ultra-fast at just 1ms.
Additionally, the product supports adaptive sync technology to reduce tearing. It is equipped with multiple interfaces of DP and Type-C, supports one-line connection function, and provides up to 65W PD power supply. Last but not the least, the monitor has 5 USB 3.0 ports and built-in 2W stereo surround speakers.

In comparison, the ViewSonic VX2880-4K-PRO monitor has a screen size of 28-inches. The refresh rate is similar though and can be overclocked to up to 150Hz. Its response time is 1ms just like its larger sibling. The monitor is also equipped with an atmospheric lighting system to enhance the gaming experience. It supports Type-C first-wire connection and provides a power supply of 65W.
But that’s not all. Both the ViewSonic VX series monitors come with support for PIP and PBP split-screen functions along with the switching of multiple display modes at just a single button press. They’re also equipped with a lifting and rotating base, a quick-release bracket, four-direction adjustment. They can be hung on walls as well.

The ViewSonic VX3220-4K-PRO and VX2880-4K-PRO have already hit the shelves, with the former being priced at 6,499 Yuan (~$1,004) while the latter will cost you 4,999 Yuan (~$773).
