Amazon flagship event of the year, the Great Indian Festival Sale, which was earlier scheduled to begin on October 4 has now been preponed by a day with the sole aim to coincide with rival Flipkart‘s Big Billion Day Sale on October 3. Amazon has also set its stage for some exciting new smartphone launches during the sale period.

There is an interesting rivalry going on between the two giants where Flipkart, after announcing the 6-day sale from October 7, later changed its decision and marked October 3 as the starting date, a day earlier than Amazon’s October 4 sale. In retaliation, Amazon has now finally decided that they”ll go head-on with Flipkart and both these sales will begin the very same day.

An Amazon India spokesperson said, “Our top priority remains customer trust and the interest of our sellers, especially the lakhs of small sellers and the tens of thousands of local shop owners across India,”. “We continue to innovate for our partners, small businesses and customers, as they gear up for the upcoming festive season. The Amazon Great Indian Festival will now start from October 3, 2021, and as always, Prime members will have early access.”

Great Indian Festival Sale is set to arrive with over 850,000 sellers onboard. There are going to be tons of products from Indian SMBs and local shops. Buyers would witness over 1000 new product launches from the likes of Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Sony, and Apple. There will be a wide variety with discounted rates from other such brands including boAt, Lenovo, HP, Asus, Fossil, Levi’s, Bajaj, Lakme, Maybelline, etc.

Being a high consumer of smartphones, no sale in India goes without introducing exciting deals and new launches centric around smartphones. And that is exactly going to be the prominent part of the Great Indian Festival sale this year. Here are some of the key launches from top brands.
