Aside from the CIVI smartphone that was unveiled by Xiaomi today, the company equally announced some smart ecosystem products. One of them is the MIJIA Treadmill. Xiaomi has often launched treadmills under the WalkingPad brand which isn’t wholly owned by the company. The MIJIA Treadmill is the brand’s first treadmill launched under the MIJIA brand.
The MIJIA Treadmill focuses on health and just like its progenitors, it adopts a minimalist folding design, making it easy for it to be stored by just one person. With just the turn of a knob, the treadmill can be folded swiftly. When folded, it is just 19.2 cm thick and there are rollers to move it to where it to the storage point.
The treadmill adopts a seven-layer structure with super shock absorption effect. The device also has a large running area of 480mm x 250mm, with unlimited pace and smoother running. The soft rubber running belt enhances friction and resilience, and effectively protects the knee to avoid injury.
Furthermore, it has a built-in 1.25HP high-torque and low-noise motor. While stably outputting surging power, it greatly reduces running noise, so that the whole family can enjoy the fun of exercise.
According to reports, the MIJIA Treadmill supports intelligent speed regulation and is known as a personal trainer for running at home. It can support collaborative wearable device linkage perception. Users only need to pair the wearable device and start the treadmill, open the Xiaomi wearable app, link heart rate data, and monitor their exercise sessions.
At the same time, the user does not need to manually operate at all, just start the treadmill to automatically activate the wearable device to enter the exercise mode, synchronize the detection data, and synchronize the data in real-time, and even intelligently adjust the speed through the heart rate data to maintain the best heart rate zone.
In addition, the Mijia treadmill also supports intelligent linkage with the whole house, including smart products such as TVs, air conditioners, air purifiers, and speakers, which can automatically respond according to the running status of the treadmill, providing a more comfortable exercise environment and atmosphere.
The MIJIA Treadmill is priced at 2,499 yuan (~$386) and will be officially on sale from September 27. Early buyers will get the Mi Band 6 NFC version free for a limited period.
