POCO M4 Pro 5G passes certification process; expected to get launched soon

POCO, a sub-brand from Xiaomi, is now gearing up to launch its POCO M4 Pro smartphone as the successor of the POCO M3 Pro that was launched earlier this year. Now, the upcoming POCO M4 Pro has passed through the certification process.

The smartphone has appeared with a model number 21091116AG and it looks like the device is meant for the global markets. The certificate filings of the upcoming POCO M4 Pro were spotted by Abhishek Yadav and Kacper Skrzypek.

The listing reveals that the device will come powered by the MediaTek processor and have support for 33W fast charging technology. While not much is not about the phone’s specifications, the device is expected to get launched soon given that it has already passed through the certification process.

To remind you, the POCO M3 Pro features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 91% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

In the camera department, it comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor in the triple-camera setup, coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and another 2-megapixel macro lens. Taking care of your selfie and video calling needs is an 8-megapixel snapper up front.

The phone runs the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the Xiaomi MIUI 12 custom user interface on top. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with support for 18W fast charging technology.
