Fujifilm has launched a new mobile printer, the Instax Link Wide Smartphone Printer, which uses a larger Instax wide-format film. The Instax Link Wide Smartphone Printer is similar to the currently available Instax Mini Link. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and uses an application to edit and print Polaroid-style snapshots in your camera roll.fujifilm Instax Link Wide smartphone printer

Instax Wide film is much larger than Instax Mini, about the size of two credit cards side by side. This means that the photos printed by your Link Wide may not be as easy to put in your wallet as Instax Mini photos, but they should be more visible and can be used for other purposes.

Instax Wide printers are also compatible with Fujifilm’s X-S10 mirrorless camera launched last year, allowing you to print directly without using a mobile phone. Of course, you can also print photos taken with other cameras, just upload them to your phone and then upload them to the Instax Link app.

Fujifilm says that the Link Wide printer should be able to print about 100 Instax photos when the battery is charged. There are two printing modes, Rich (Rich) and Natural (Natural), allowing you to choose between “bright and immersive or saturated and classic” color output, as well as editing the image by cropping or adding text in the application ability.Fujifilm Instax Link Wide Smartphone Printer

Fujifilm will release the Instax Link Wide Smartphone Printer at the end of this month, priced at $149.95. The company will also launch a new black-framed Instax Wide film, a pack of 10 sheets, priced at $21.99.
