Honor announced the Honor X20 SE back in June and it unveiled the Honor X20 5G in August. Recent reports claimed that the company will be soon launching another X20 series phone called the Honor X20 Max this month. Fresh information reveals that the next X-series phone from the brand will not be called X20 Max. According to Digital Chat Station, the company is gearing up to launch the Honor X30 Max.

The tipster claimed that the Honor X30 Max should be debuting before Double Eleven (Nov. 11) shopping festival. Apart from saying that it has a 7-inch display and offers a good audio-visual experience, the tipster did not reveal any other information on its specs.

One of his previous Weibo posts claimed that the Honor phone with KKG-AN70 that was certified by China’s 3C authority last month will be breaking cover as the Honor X30 Max. The 3C certification revealed that it may ship with a 22.5W fast charger. This KKG-AN70 phone was also spotted at the CMIIT certification site last week.

It is believed that the “KKG” letters in the model number refer to its King Kong codename. Previous reports have claimed that the device will be powered by the Dimensity 1100 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery. For photography, it may house a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. The other details of the phone are yet to appear.

In August, Honor launched the Honor Watch GS 3 smartwatch in China. It can be said based on a recent report that the company will confirm the availability of the smartwatch during the launch event of the X30 Max.
