Earlier this month, an OPPO phone smartphone with the PERM10 model number was certified by the 3C and TENAA certification platforms of China. It now appears that the handset will be debuting soon in the Chinese market with the OPPO K9s moniker.

Posters of the upcoming OPPO K9s have been shared by Chinese tipster WHY LAB. The images show that the smartphone will be equipped with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 778G mobile platform, and an X-axis linear motor for enhanced 4G in-game vibrations. It will be arriving in three color variants like black, silver, and purple.

OPPO K9s specifications (expected)

The OPPO K9s’ (PERM10 model number) TENAA listing reveals that it has an LTPS panel of 6.59 inches that produces an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. It will come preinstalled with Android 11 OS.

The Snapdragon 778G SoC will be coupled with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM. When it comes to storage, it will offer choices like 128 GB / 256 GB. For more storage, it features a microSD card slot. It has a 4,880mAh battery to keep the lights on. The 3C certification of the device has suggested that it may arrive with support for 30W rapid charging.

The K9s’ rear shell has a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. Its front side is fitted with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The power button available on the right edge of the device is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

The OPPO K9s reminds us of the Realme phone with RMX3461 model number, which is packed with almost identical specs. The RMX3461 will be launching soon in China with Realme Q3s moniker.
