Last month, Japanese tech giant SHARP unveiled the AQUOS Zero6 smartphone in Japan. The device brought an enticing specs sheet to the table with its whopping 240Hz refresh rate screen and Snapdragon processor. Today, the phone is available on the shelves across Japan.

The SHARP AQUOS Zero6 is priced at ¥69,800(~$615) and is available from Rakuten Mobiles. It has three colour variants – Black, White, and Purple. As of now, the phone is exclusive to Japan but it is expected to reach global markets later this year.

SHARP AQUOS Zero6 Specifications 

The SHARP AQUOS Zero6 comes with a 6.4-inch dew-drop notch display. It is an OLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It comes with support for Gorilla Glass Victus. It holds a 12.6MP camera on the front and has a quadruple-camera system at the rear.

It boasts a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and lastly a ToF sensor. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It houses a 4,010mAh battery and has support for fast charging technology.

It supports IPX5/IPX8 dust and water-resistant rating. The phone has an under-display fingerprint scanner and a facial recognition option for security. It has a Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, and 5G connectivity. As for slots & ports, it has a USB Type-C port and a MicroSD slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
