The Exynos variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series can now enjoy Android 12 thanks to the release of a LineageOS 19.0 custom ROM.

Google had officially uploaded the Android 12 source code to AOSP last week. The update may not have been rolled out for the Pixels, or any other device for that matter, in the stable form, but the custom ROM community is already working hard on making Android 12 accessible to all.

We previously highlighted how the Redmi K20 Pro became one of the first devices to bag an Android 12 ROM. The device is now joined by the entirety of the Exynos S10 lineup (via: XDA Developers).

XDA Recognized Developer Ivan_Meler has released an early build of LineageOS 19.0 based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10E. The ROM appears to be fairly stable for an initial release with all of the hardware working properly including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, fingerprint, audio, and cameras. Magisk can be flashed as well.

However, VoLTE and VoWiFi are broken on the build, coupled with a lot of LineageOS-specific features missing. This should be fixed with updates though.

The ROM also comes with full Material You support, thanks to the inclusion of the monet engine, meaning app backgrounds of at least the Google apps will be dynamically switching colors based on the current wallpaper.

Interested in flashing the Android 12-based Lineage OS 19.0 ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S10 series device? Just head over to this thread wherein you will find the download link along with all of the flashing instructions. Of course, you will need an unlocked bootloader to install ROMs along with a recovery like TWRP. Links for all of that are present in the thread itself.
