Apple on Monday officially announced a new Music subscription plan in the market. The all-new Apple Music Voice Plan costs $4.99 a month and it offers over a 90 million songs.
The Apple Music Voice Plan offers a cheaper way of subscribing to the Apple Music subscription for almost half the price of a standard subscription. The subscription plan allows users to listen to music only via Siri. You can simply ask Siri to play a specific song and it will play and shuffle it for you.
The Voice Plan costs $4.99/₹49 per month in the global and Indian market. It brings support for playing music from all the Siri supported devices as well including the iPhone itself. It will allow users to play any song from the wide range of over 90 million songs and users can shuffle songs from playlists and different stations.
If you want to start your Voice Plan, you can toggle Siri by saying, “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice trail.” For playing music, users can ask Siri to play specific music or playlists. Keywords can be “Play something chill,” or “Play more like this.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t support Spatial and lossless audio features. That said, these features are still present in the regular Apple Music subscription plan. As of now, Apple has three subscription plans, a Voice Plan, an individual plan, and a Family Plan. The latter plans start at $9.99 and 14.99 respectively.
