Back in August, the Chinese phone maker Vivo launched the Y33s smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone was recently launched in Nigeria and Singapore, and it is now heading to other markets. Today, the Vivo Y33s has arrived in Kenya.

The Vivo Y33s comes with a price tag of Ksh 23,999(~$216) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The smartphone has two colour variants like Mirror Black and Midday Dream. It is currently available for purchase across Kenya.

The Vivo Y33s sports a 6.58-inch water-drop notch display. It is an LCD panel with a Full-HD+ resolution. The screen supports a 60Hz refresh rate and has a modern aspect ratio. It features a 16MP front camera for selfie shots. There’s a triple camera array at the rear with a 50MP main lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth-sensing lens.

At the helm, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with an 8GB of ram and 128GB of built-in storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 11 out of the box with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 11.1 on the top. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
