Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones by the end of this year or in January next year. The lineup will include three models such as Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. This year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra came with support for 25W fast charging. Fresh information reveals that the S22 Ultra will come with support for faster charging.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra was spotted at the 3C certification in China earlier this month. It suggested that the device may support only 25W fast charging. However, reliable tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the S22 Ultra will carry support for 45W fast charging.

The tipster also revealed that it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. the device will be able to charge up to 70 percent in just 35 minutes. The S21 Ultra was packed with the same sized battery. While Samsung will be offering enhanced fast charging on the Ultra model, the S22 and S22+ may continue to support 25W charging.

The S21 Ultra carried support for an S Pen stylus, but it did not feature a dedicated slot for storing it. Reports have claimed that the S22 Ultra will have a dedicated S Pen slot. It is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 898 or Exynos 2200 depending on the market.

The S22 Ultra is expected to arrive with a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED LTPO panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution. For photography, it may feature a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12-megapixel periscope lens with 10x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera.
