After teasing it for some time, Lenovo finally launched its latest laptop under the Yoga series in the Chinese market, dubbed as Lenovo Yoga 14s Pro Carbon 2022. For those who are unaware, the Yoga series devices are positioned in the premium category and are aimed at business users.
The newly launched Lenovo Yoga 14s Pro Carbon is using silver carbon fiber and magnesium-aluminum alloy for the body. As the name indicates, it comes with a 14-inch display offering 2880 x 1800 pixels screen resolution.
It comes with support for a 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 1.07 billion colors. The color is calibrated one by one at the factory, ΔE<2, with a peak brightness of 600nit. It has also passed DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
Lenovo’s Product Manager Lin Lin has said that the laptop isn’t White-colored but will be offered in Silver color. Further, he added that the device will have integrated graphics and have support for touchscreen.
There’s a camera sensor placed on the ultra-narrow top bezel which measures 3.9mm. Unlike the recently launched MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models, Lenovo didn’t adopt the notched display design for housing the camera sensor on the narrow bezel, but how good is the camera sensor remains to be seen.
Additionally, the company has also revealed that the device comes with support for Dolby Atmos sound system with stereo sound as well as high and low-frequency crossover and an array of four speakers.
We expect the company to reveal more details about this laptop thorugh teaser posters in the coming days, ahead of announcing pricing and availability details for the Chinese market on 2nd November, just days ahead of the Double 11 sale.
