Coolpad has just announced a new makeover for its branding in China. The company is undergoing a rebranding as the Coolpad Red that will allow it to better appeal to the local market.
The new makeover from the Chinese smartphone maker has the company’s branding shift from blue to red. This “red” color scheme also signifies its patriotism along with refresh to its brand image in the region. The Coolpad Red’s focus will be for the Chinese market as of right now, so its overseas operations will remain unaffected by the branding refresh. According to the company, its new makeover will also have it launch better products and offer improved services in its home country as well.
Furthermore, the brand also aims on focusing on technological innovation to offer cutting edge technology while also showcasing its patriotism with the red color based on the Chinese flag in the global smartphone market. In other words, Coolpad Red also arrives as a refresh to its entire brand image as it expands in its own home country. Notably, the recent announcement also arrives amid a spree of new hires for its top management, including a new senior vice president and three new vice presidents that have also worked with the Xiaomi Group as well in the past.
